Eesha is a BA (Hons) History graduate with interests that lie in early modern history. She is passionate about early modern Britain and Europe, specifically relating to diverse and inclusive history.

Keen to dispel the notion that British and European history is white, this site will uncover the lives and history of many minorities and will largely focus on the early modern period but may venture into other eras.

This page will also engage in discussions relating to historical dramas (or generally the representation of history), reviews, the teaching/learning of history, and how better to support future historians.

Following on from her prize winning dissertation ‘How do historical drama help us see an inclusive past,’ the articles on this site will focus on the research Eesha is conducting, taking inspiration from the works of Dr Miranda Kaufmann, Dr Onyeka Nubia and Professor David Olusoga.

Eesha also hopes that this platform can eventually become a place to champion and support historians who come from a minority background, alongside diverse/inclusive history.
